Individual piece of photography !!!!

The image above is one I have taken during the snowy weather, I like my photo as the sun is reflecting of the snow and making a brighter and more vibrant photo. Below is a photo taken by a photographer called Tony Howell in the same situation as mine, with snow on trees. As you can see his is a little different to mine as his is a whole tree sitting on its on with others in the background. Mine is just purely focused on one part of the tree where the sun light was reflecting.

Audio stop motion animation

This is the same stop motion video but i have just added an audio to it and faded the song and the movie in and out. I think the song also fits it well with the movie as it is very mellow and calm just like the frames very gracious flying through the air.

New and improved photomontage!!!!

This is a photmonage I have done in the style of Hockney in the snow and is going to be one of my final pieces. I think this piece is very good as it has the single tree standing on its own and then the cluster on the other side, it has balance to it due to the fact of the eye line to the bollards on the other side. It might look like it doesn't have a mixture of colour's but it does really, the hedge row has a kind of violet tint to it, also the dark green of the hedge row and the red on the bollards. I also like the fact that you can see the piled up snow on the branches of the trees. All in all I think this photomontage is a very good  piece.

Story board for animation!!!

This is my story board for my animation it is not all of my images because 280 would not all fit on, I have only put on the ones that show a pprogressive stage to my animation.

Analysis of my stop motion!!!!

I started to prepare for my stop motion weeks in advance by taking photos to get ideas of what I wanted to do. I come up with the idea of me flying through the air, at first I needed to find a way to show this with out it being to up realistic, so thought of using a cannon on a roof top. I then chose to have myself sumasulting through the air, but with a twist I would be changing outfits. It took about 20 minutes to capture with moving my photos step by step. I like my animation as it shows the changing landscape theme but also how much you can do with some photos that have been cut out the options are so wide. I would definetly do it again on a much bigger scale as mine is only 15 seconds long with around 280 frames, that is alot of frames and is only that long. I would like to do something like an advert. The only thing I could comment on my animation being bad is that I caught my hand in one of the frames but is very breath and cant really see it unless you try to look for it. I have thought about adding an audio but not to sure if it is in the right context and what to add, I had an idea to use 'Frank Sinatra - Fly me to the moon' but its not dark, but there is another song called come fly with me which would be more appropriate. Over all I like my animation and have learnt alot in doing so and also had alot of fun and enjoyment out of it.

My own photomontage

This is my own piece of photomontage in the style of David Hockney, as you can see it is not up to the same standard although I have had ago. To begin with I took lots of photos of around abouts the same place some zoomed in and out using different angle shots and then in the end to be putting them all together. At first this seemed to be quite easy putting the images togther but as I put more images together I found it harder and harder to get the affect from the image just been put in, you have to move all the layers around to get them showing in the right place and making sure that its not very clear that it has been placed and doesnt look weird. This is my first attempt at The David Hockney and would like to have another go to see if I can improve my work and to make it look good.
